Sometimes the more complex the project, the more simple the idea conceived.
Like many older properties we encounter, this one had been added to and altered over the years. These additions created a central dead space which lacked light and cohesion.
Our solution, strip back layers of ill conceived construction and open up the space. Light is now brought in through an expansive rooflight to the reorganised kitchen-dining space. Simple design touches such as the pocket doors allow the space to be open or closed depending on the use.
