Refurbishment of Double Upper Flat
Completed 2004

This flat was in a tired state and its accommodation was poorly arranged. The brief was to bring some life back into the property.

The floor above the kitchen was removed to create a double height space with roof windows to bring natural light deep into the plan. The kitchen and living space were opened up to form one full depth room with windows to the east and west.

The stair to the upper level was repositioned and remodelled. It is accessed off the hall spirals up to the attic and has natural light filtering through it’s open treads. The original features in the principal rooms were retained and the result is a fresh and bright of spacious spaces, light and views.
